As graduation approaches for many students, my favourite design, the My Secret Spinning Necklace, was a special request this week. You may not know it, but it is a classic design that has the possibility of a secret message when personalised.
Each time I create one of these designs, I am reminded of my school days when I used to use half-completed letters as a code only my best friend and I could decode. Did you do that too, and fold them this way? 😊
I made one for my daughter with her name and butterflies on it. She loved spinning it to watch her name appear and the butterflies flutter.
To make sure the inscription can be read and the animation is achieved when the design is spun, it can sometimes be tricky to determine the right positioning. Take a look at my daughter spinning hers...
With this design, you have the option of adding your own secret message that will be revealed when spinning, or you can have full words and messages on both sides along with perhaps a photo or image.
